ADAS Start-up pitch opportunity – launching AutoSens Accelerator
I’m passionate about this business, not just my own, but the industry we work in. For some time, companies around the industry have been telling me that they are hungry for new technologies. At the same time, small, brilliant and innovative product developers are struggling to find a voice or a platform from which to tell the world about their inventions.
New companies such as ADASWorks and Quanergy are making significant inroads into the automotive engineering space, and with rapid developments in the field of ADAS and semi-autonomous functions it has become clear that the AutoSens conference could and should be a springboard for new products, services and ideas, whether innovative or out-and-out disruptive.
In response to this, we are very excited to launch AutoSens Accelerator.
We have a brilliant advisory board, exceptional speakers, world class sponsors and anticipate a focused professional audience of the highest calibre so the team here at AutoSens (and Sense Media as a company) are right behind this exciting new project to give innovators a platform.
In its first year, we are providing a total of fifteen 3-minute pitch slots for start-ups to explain, launch or profile their innovative product, technology (hardware or software) or service to the assembled delegates at the AutoSens conference.
The idea must be new, bold and exciting. Companies must be less than 2 years old, and must have received less than €3m in funding.

These loose guidelines will help stimulate a diverse range of products to appear in front of an audience hungry to learn about how independent thinkers see the industry evolving. Of course, those same audience members also want to get ahead of the competition.
The categories, which map broadly to our topics on the second day of AutoSens (22nd September) are 1) Sensors for vehicle perception, 2) Computer vision & Sensor fusion, or 3) Mapping / Geospatial systems.
As I see it, these new ideas aren’t just a great reason to attend AutoSens, whether you’re a delegate or a start-up in this field, it’s also a great reason to get involved in the many partnerships and sponsor opportunities we have developed.
As a company, we’re determined that AutoSens becomes – by association – the conference which is respected for quality, innovation, education and above all, dedication to reflecting the industry’s needs. We believe the Accelerator start-up pitch opportunity is a powerful statement of intent, and one that we’re looking forward to having you on board for.
