Autoworld – Brussels, Belgium
Autoworld is a private museum which rents this building from the community. It goes without saying that thanks to its architecture and splendid collection of motorcars (one of the most impressive in Europe) this exceptional site will provide us with a unique setting for the AutoSens Awards celebration evening.
Autoworld is a highly-colorful environment adapted for teaching purposes and created to continue evolving on a non-stop basis.
Throughout the years the hall that houses Autoworld today was used for different purposes. During WWI it served the German army as a garage. The Mundaneum, whose origins went back to the end of the 19th century, was installed there in 1920. Its founders were two Belgian lawyers: Paul Otlet and Henri La fontaine.
