Students on this programming workshop will be giving a short presentation describing their robot cars, the software, how other schools can join the program and how companies could, if they wanted, connect and partner with these schools. Alongside the presentation, the students will also be setting up a track and demonstrating their cars in action along the Blue Boulevard in the AutoSens exhibition area.

Another stellar AutoSens draws to a close. Twelve months of build-up consigned to the past, but we relish in the fruits of our labour living on for far longer. AutoSens has gone from strength to strength with its return to Brussels, delivering another “best in class” conference for 550 of the most skilled engineers and technologists in the automotive industry. AutoSens has become far more than I could have ever imagined in just three years, it’s humbling to hear attendees speak of the event with such enthusiasm and passion, all thrilled at the thought of taking away an abundance of inspiration and motivation for the next steps. Thomas Wilson, VP Automotive, Graphcore joins AutoSens in Brussels to present at the conference on “Enabling Volume Deployment of the Autonomous Vehicle with a new AI Processor.” Tom has over 25 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, the last 8 years in Advanced Driver Assistance and Autonomous Vehicles. At Graphcore, Tom is VP Automotive driving the automotive business for Graphcore’s unique AI processing architecture. Tom has a Bachelor of Science and a PhD from Carleton University Ottawa Canada.
