The rapid growth of ADAS cameras and infotainment displays has made robust video connectivity essential in vehicles. Adopted by over 25 global OEMs, Analog Devices Inc.’s GMSL™ technology is the industry standard for automotive video links. To address integration, cost, and time-to-market pressures, ADI is transitioning to an open standard via the newly formed OpenGMSL™ Association (OGA), led by top industry leaders. OGA will ensure backward compatibility and provide access to legacy and current GMSL specifications. The OpenGMSL Association invites the wider automotive ecosystem (and relevant adjacent markets) to join and shape the future of in-vehicle video connectivity.
