This talk will review inherent and architectural limitations of ADAS and AD sensors for computer vision / perception tasks. Novel deep learning approaches will be shared showing significant improvements in perception accuracy and robustness for camera-only systems as well as gated cameras and learned deep fusion, concluding with an introduction to cutting-edge technology to “see” around corners for automotive applications.
