Our RGB-IR technology consists of both optical filtering and image signal processing enabling cameras to capture color and near infra-red images simultaneously, using a dual passband optical filter. We describe the sensor construction including the on-chip color filter array and the on-chip near infra-red pass filters. In addition, we describe the image signal processing and algorithms necessary to render high quality color images from the sensor.
