This presentation will explore how reliable performance for L3 and above in all driving scenarios can be delivered, as well as in challenging weather conditions and low-light environments, particularly at night, meeting the strict requirements set by the automotive industry. Through a qualitative and quantitative analysis, the audience will gain an understanding of the required accuracy and robustness. The analysis will focus on the results of experiments conducted in both a controlled test facility and on public roads, offering valuable insights into the strengths of stereo cameras and their deployment in autonomous systems, with a special emphasis on the shift towards L3.
