With multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) mode, FMCW radars can specify distance, angle of arrival (AoA) and velocity information of multiple targets simultaneously, which is critical for in-cabin applications. This paper presents a sensor that performs the three safety functions using the compact Infineon BGT60ATR24C radar chip.
