Near Infrared light is utilized in an increasing number of ADAS sensing applications from LiDAR based environmental mapping to LED based cabin monitoring systems. Use of NIR & visible filters can dramatically reduce ambient noise, enhance sensor performance, prevent driver distraction, and improve cabin aesthetics.

The presentation addresses how light absorbing materials can be formulated to address specific application challenges in a variety of supply forms including on-chip, within sensor lenses or covers, or via application of formulated or printed film.
