AD simulations are different from traditional CAE hi-fidelity physics simulations used for automotive product development. Unlike tightly coupled CAE simulations, AD simulations tend to be parallel, and are interruptible that scale to hundreds of thousands of vCPUs. There are primarily two types of AV simulations – Log Simulation and Virtual Simulation.
