We will explain the different definitions and standards and we will analyze the crucial influencing factors for the camera system MTF. On this basis we will show what has to be considered and how the MTF concept can be used for all subsystems to derive the overall performance of the ADAS camera system. Also focusing on whether MTF the right KPI? whether the MTF knowledge can be used for further KPIs? e.g. what is the task of the imaging chain & why is MTF a good KPI and why not.
