Especially low light performance is becoming more and more important for achieving beyond human eye capability. The image sensor has been evolved as a part of viewing camera and many sensors adopt 3-color filter pattern said “Bayer”. Another pattern is used for a recent automotive sensor. In this presentation, we will discuss the influence of colour filter pattern and its arrangement on resolution and colour reproducibility.
