There are many advantages for next-generation ADAS and autonomous systems in deploying AI-driven stacks for low-level sensor fusion. For example, this approach enhances real-time decision-making and achieves unprecedented accuracy in multi-sensor integration. This presentation will examine recent implementations that are pushing the boundaries of multimodal sensor fusion and elevating automotive intelligence. Real-world, R&D vehicle implementations developed in partnership between Continental and Ambarella will be used as tangible examples of the advancements that can be achieved from low-level sensor fusion, including supporting videos and block diagrams. Attendees will learn cutting-edge methods for centrally processing raw sensor data across diverse sensing modalities, as well as fusion that provides the richest environmental data, coupled with unprecedented AI processing efficiency and minimal memory utilization.
