The windshield area used for ADAS functions is critical, as optical distortions can degrade camera performance and compromise safety. Current validation methods often rely on simplified or synthetic models and do not fully capture real-world windshield-induced aberrations. This work introduces a deflectometry-based method that reconstructs the full 3D windshield geometry using standard industrial cameras and a backlit target, enabling more accurate wavefront estimation and better ADAS camera validation in production environments
