This interactive workshop introduces participants to TinkerCAD, offering a practical, hands-on session in rapid design and prototyping. Led by Alex Polonsky, former racing driver, engineer at Brose, and founder of the Detroit Autonomous Vehicle Group, the session will guide attendees through the fundamentals of creating and visualising components in a simple, accessible CAD environment. Designed for engineers, the workshop shows how TinkerCAD can be used to create functional designs, run simple simulations, and prepare models for 3D printing. Whether applied to real-world engineering challenges or creative side projects, the session highlights how quick iteration and digital tools can accelerate problem-solving and innovation. Please bring a laptop to participate in the session.
