VP Engineering
Fritz Krainer is responsible for leading the Engineering group at Seek Thermal. He was born in Austria and grew up in Santa Monica. Fritz later graduated from UCSB with a major in Physics and then worked at Bruker Nano/Veeco/Digital Instruments for 18 years focusing on scientific instrumentation. Most recently, he spent 6 years as Head of Engineering, LiDAR at Continental Automotive working for Autonomous Mobility, a division which focuses on technology for self-driving cars. Fritz helped lead the team to production of the first Automotive-grade high-resolution LiDAR for a major OEM in late 2021.
