Nancy Bell

Nancy joined Rivian in May 2020 and manages the regulatory compliance and policy portfolio for all product areas. Prior to joining Rivian, Nancy was Intel’s Policy Counsel for Automated Driving and IoT. In this role, she led advocacy for Intel’s interests before U.S. Congress, federal agencies, and other stakeholder groups. And, prior to Intel, Nancy was a Senior Manager for External Affairs at Fiat Chrysler and advised the company on an array of motor vehicle regulatory and legislative matters. She has also served as Associate General Counsel for AARP, Senior Counsel with the Alliance of Automobile Manufacturers, and as an Attorney Advisor for Rulemaking and International Harmonization at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). She holds a JD, MA, and PhD from Syracuse University, a BA with Honors from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a former Fulbright Scholar.
