Expert Image Quality
Stefan Christmann (*1983) is Expert for Image Quality in the Aumovio Satellite Camera Division, where he brings together more than two decades of hands on experience across consumer, automotive, and scientific imaging. He joined Aumovio in 2018 (former Continental) as a camera design engineer after developing next generation automotive infotainment camera systems at Elektrobit and e.solutions.
Beyond engineering, Stefan is a professional photographer and cinematographer. His work has taken him on filming expeditions for major productions by Netflix and the BBC, adding a unique perspective to his technical expertise.
Stefan holds a diploma in Physics (Astronomy and Astrophysics) from the University of Tübingen, where he specialized in the development of real time ISP pipelines for heavily bandwidth-limited satellite missions. This unique blend of scientific rigor, multi-industry know how, and practical field experience allows him to bridge the worlds of engineering and final camera deployment.
