Carles Person

I have studied Physics at the University of Barcelona, with a master’s in Applied Physics and Material Science. After a short period in renewable energies, I moved to the Automotive industry, where I has been involved in several projects since then. Starting in 2002 I switched my interest to “Advanced Driver Assistance Systems” and “Autonomous Driving”, contributing to several technologies based on vision sensing as “lane recognition”, “object/vehicle detection”, “obstacle detection”, “free space recognition”, and lately in “VRU detection”, “ViDAR” and most recently in thermal imaging applications for AD/ADAS.
