Alexis has experience in multiple disciplines in the emerging field of image processing, from academia to commercial R&D, with a proven history of working in the semiconductor industry. Currently he is Technical Director – Imaging at Arm, responsible for the image signal processor (ISP) architecture and the Imaging technology research team. Alexis joined Arm in May 2016 after spending the previous 6 years with Apical, where he was responsible for Image Quality and R&D of advanced image processing models, computational algorithms and tuning for end-to-end ISP performance. Prior to joining Apical he was a researcher at Loughborough University where he studied for his PhD in Vision and Imaging Systems, and holds a BSc and MSc in computer science.

Andreas is a Deep Learning researcher at Embedl. He received his PhD in Physics from Chalmers University of Technology in 2021, where he worked on quantum computing, and his M.Sc. in physics from the University of Gothenburg in 2015. With a keen interest in everything deep-learning related, Andreas specializes in optimizing deep learning models for embedded systems. He is especially interested in model compression techniques centered around network pruning, neural architecture search, and knowledge distillation, and how to tailor these techniques to industrial needs.

MEMS is the short form of Micro-ElectroMechanical System. MEMS Drive is the first semiconductor based 5-axis Optical Image Stablization (OIS) for smartphone.
Prior to MEMS Drive, Colin joined DigitalOptics (DOC) in 2010 as VP of China (S&M), he led the team to launch the first lens based MEMS autofocus camera module with OPPO and achieved the commercialization of state-of-the-art technology. Darren is also leading the technical marketing team to develop the new business about the automotive sensors which LITEON design and manufacture for OEM & Tier1. Prior to joining LITEON, Darren was the special assistant to general manager of automotive BU at Philips LITEON Digital Solutions, and joint-developed the Head-Up Display, wireless charger, ultrasonic sensor, and then led radar & LiDAR pre-developing projects. Egil has over 40 years’ experience in the high-tech and automotive industries. He is currently a senior partner and principal analyst at VSI Labs. VSI is unique with its applied research and technical insights derived through its own test vehicles and provide perspectives, insights and analysis of ADAS/AD technologies via its portal service. Egil is also a contributor to EE Times and has written nearly 100 articles since June 2020. Egil’s recent research has been focused on autonomous driving technologies and use-cases, software-fined vehicle segments and BEVs. He has extensive experience in technology forecasting, market forecasting and competitive analysis. Egil was co-founder of Telematics Research Group, which was acquired by iSuppli in 2008. IHS acquired iSuppli in 2010. He worked for IHS Market until mid-2020 as research director of automotive technology. Egil was Chairman and co-founder of Future Computing, an information service company that was the leading market research and product testing company for the PC industry. Future Computing was sold to McGraw-Hill. He remained president of the company’s StoreBoard unit for several years following a private placement. StoreBoard tracked the sales of PC products and was later sold to Ziff-Davis. Previously, he was with Texas Instruments where he was a strategic and product planner for microprocessors, minicomputers and PCs. He has written columns and papers for technology publications and has made presentations, seminars and lectures in the USA, Asia and Europe. Egil has made over 750 papers, reports and conference presentations in the last 35 years. He received B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Purdue University. Jonathan Phillips is VP of Imaging Science at Imatest, a leading company in image quality testing based in Boulder, Colorado that supports camera development for many of the world’s top companies across many industries, including automotive, mobile electronics, security, aerospace, and medical imaging. He is the co-author of Camera Image Quality Benchmarking, a reference book that details objective and subjective metrics fundamental to benchmarking still and video imaging devices. Prior to joining Imatest, Jonathan was the leader of image quality in Google’s Android organization, manager of the camera image quality lab at NVIDIA, and principal scientist at Kodak. Kodak sponsored his Master’s and PhD work in color science at RIT.

Dr. Leaf Jiang is an engineering industry executive and leading authority on 3D vision systems. Leaf received his B.S., M.Eng, and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering at MIT, with a focus on optoelectronics, and then went on to MIT Lincoln Laboratories for 12 years where he headed LiDAR R&D for the President’s Office and built coherent and direct detection LiDARs for the military. In 2017, as the autonomous vehicle industry gained momentum, Leaf realized that there was a substantial opportunity to service the gap between what LiDAR could deliver and the needs of the market. Leaf started NODAR to address that gap.

In 2006 her career shifted to mobile imaging at companies such as Danger, Microsoft, and NVIDIA. She managed the Customer Camera team at NVIDIA for 7 years, working on imaging products for mobile, automotive, surveillance, and robotics. Margaret was Chair of the IEEE P1858 Camera Phone Image Quality (CPIQ) Workgroup and is now Chair of the IEEE P2020 Automotive Image Quality Workgroup. In her spare time, Margaret is an avid world traveler and photographer.

He founded Imatest LLC in 2003 to develop software and test charts to measure the quality of digital imaging systems.

Dr. Srinivas Peeta became the Frederick R. Dickerson Chair in Transportation Systems in the School of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Georgia Tech in August 2018 after 24 years at Purdue University. Peeta has been the Director of the NEXTRANS Center, which served as the USDOT’s Region 5 Regional University Transportation Center (UTC) from 2007 to 2018. He is also the Associate Director of the USDOT Center for Connected and Automated Transportation, the USDOT Region 5 UTC (2016-2022) led by the University of Michigan. He received his B. Tech., M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Civil Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology (Madras), California Institute of Technology (Caltech), and The University of Texas at Austin, respectively. During 2007-2013, Dr. Peeta served as Chair of the Transportation Network Modeling Committee (ADB30) of the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies, and as a member of the Travel Analysis Methods Section. He is a board member of the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC) Technical Committee on Transportation Systems.

Her areas of expertise include the statistical analysis of crash datasets and naturalistic data, vulnerable road user safety, experimental design, algorithm development to identify driver states and movement, evaluation of driving-safety technologies, measurement of driver performance, driver decision making, and statistical and stochastic modeling techniques. She has been invited to give multiple keynote speeches and served on expert panels at different conferences or meetings. She has also made technical presentations on scientific project results at many international conferences with a wide range of audiences. Dr. Bao is the author of the recent IEEE e-learning course of ‘Human Factors in Automated Vehicles”.

Shashank is a seasoned industry leader with 21+ years of experience in the Semiconductor and Automotive industry. Weisong Shi is a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Delaware (UD), where he leads the Connected and Autonomous Research (CAR) Laboratory. Dr. Shi is the Center Director (Honorary) of a recently funded NSF eCAT NSF IUCRC Center, focusing on Electric, Connected, and Autonomous Technology for Mobility. He is an internationally renowned expert in edge computing, autonomous driving, and connected health. His pioneer paper, “Edge Computing: Vision and Challenges,” has been cited more than 6900 times. He is a fellow of IEEE.

Prior to co-founding Aeonsemi in 2018, Yunteng was VP and General Manager at Silicon Labs responsible for Timing and High-Speed interface products. During his tenure at Silicon Labs, Yunteng also served in various other capacities in engineering and marketing for wireless IoT, automotive and consumer products. He is an inventor of 38 US patents and co-invented the foundational DSPLL technology.
