Co-founder and CEO
Dr. Sebastian Bauer is the CEO and co-founder of Ubicept. He holds a Ph.D. (Dr.-Ing.) in Electrical Engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and completed postdoctoral research at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His work focuses on advancing machine perception through physics-based imaging and signal processing, bringing next-generation sensor technologies, including SPAD-based systems, into real-world applications.
