Head of Technical Marketing Radar System Department
Francesco Laghezza holds a master degree in electrical engineering and PhD degree in radar system and remote sensing, both from University of Pisa, Italy. He has more than 15 years of experience in radar system design, digital signal processing and testing. He holds 20 patents and more than hundreds of scientific publications on the topic.
He spent his early career working in close connection with the aerospace and defense industry developing concept for innovative EW systems, naval radars and space Lidars. In 2016, he joined the product line ADAS in NXP Semiconductor, The Netherlands contributing to the development of the radar platforms for the development of corner and imaging radar sensors.
Since 2023 he is the head of radar system technical marketing in Infineon Semiconductor, leading a team of product and system application engineers with the focus on technical customer support, and new product development.
