Engineering Manager, Multi-Modal Perception
Mark Fonaryov is an Engineering Manager in Perception Machine Learning at Torc Robotics, where he leads the development of multi-modal perception systems for autonomous vehicles. His work focuses on building scene understanding models that fuse data from multiple sensors to support perception, tracking, and downstream planning tasks.
Prior to Torc Robotics, Mark held technical and leadership roles at General Motors, where he led the development and deployment of 3D object detection models using both camera-only and camera–LiDAR sensor fusion approaches.
Mark holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Computer Science from Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, specializing in machine learning and computer vision for autonomous systems.
