R&D Group Manager, Electrical and Software Architecture
Dr. Markus Jochim is an R&D lab group manager responsible for leading the Electrical and Software Architecture Research Group in General Motors’ Software Defined Vehicle Research Lab in Warren, Michigan. Markus holds an MBA from Kelley School of Business at Indiana University and received his PhD in Computer Science from University of Duisburg-Essen (Germany) where his research focused on dependable computing systems. For the last 15 years, Markus has been working on in-vehicle network and vehicle electrical architecture topics, vehicle to cloud systems, vehicle data collection, and communication protocol development and standardization.
