Charles Gu

Charles Gu is the Sr. Functional Safety Engineer, Functional Safety Architect and Functional Safety Manager at Aptiv, currently working on various automotive Radar and ADAS development programs. He is Sr. IEEE member and SAE member.

Prior to his current role, Charles worked on L0 ~ L4 ADAS and AV development programs at GM, Lordstown Motors as lead system safety engineer; designed powertrain ECUs and IP modules at Siemens Automotive and Delco Electronics as HW lead; and worked on automotive passive and active safety control ICs and powertrain control ICs development programs at Freescale/NXP Semiconductor, Maxim Semiconductor as product definer, system architect, corporate application engineer.
