Brian O’Sullivan

Other than swimming and long walks in the park, my passions are mathematics, physics and engineering. Technical drawing was a brief love, might be the best one, and I hope to get back to her soon. My educational background is in Mathematical Physics, and I have a PhD in Quantum Mechanics from the University College Cork. During my PhD studies I developed a keen interest in quaternion mathematics, and later studied the hopf-fibration, and related topics. After being unable to source funding for my academic pursuits, I found work as a computer vision and image processing engineer. I have since accumulated seven years experience, having worked on many interesting projects from sensor fusion, stabilization, biometrics, ISP tuning and development, camera mechatronic testing and beyond. I enjoy teaching, learning and STEM.
