Robin Jenkin
Distinguished Engineer and Lead Imaging Scientist at NVIDIA
Our first keynote speaker, Robin Jenkin, is an industry luminary in the realm of imaging science, and his insights are bound to captivate and inspire us all. Robin serves as a Distinguished Engineer and holds the role of Lead Imaging Scientist at NVIDIA Corporation. Within this dynamic role, he has been at the forefront of modeling image quality for autonomous vehicle applications, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in this field.
Robin’s illustrious academic journey laid the foundation for his remarkable career. Holding a Ph.D. specialising in the realm of image science, and M.Res in Computer Vision and Image Processing. Robin currently serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Westminster, contributing his wealth of knowledge and experience to the Computer Vision and Imaging Technology Research Group, and has numerous patents and publications to his name.
Robin’s commitment and expertise have been recognized through a variety of accolades and affiliations. He proudly stands as a Fellow of The Royal Photographic Society in the UK and as a Senior Member of SPIE. Furthermore, he is currently the IEEE P2020 Image Quality for Autonomous Vehicles Working Group Secretary

Our second keynote speaker, Shashank Dabral, is a seasoned industry leader with over two decades of experience in the automotive and semiconductor industry, spearheading projects in imaging and computer vision-related technologies. His journey through this field has honed his expertise encompassing all aspects of product design, from automotive OEM platform architecture to algorithm development, silicon IP architecture, hardware design, embedded software, and applications. Currently, Shashank assumes the pivotal role of Lead ADAS Platform Architect at Rivian Automotive, a groundbreaking name in the electric vehicle industry..
With a remarkable portfolio of more than 35 patents, Shashank has left an indelible mark on the industry. Shashank’s passion for innovation and dedication to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in the field make him a fitting keynote speaker for AutoSens 2024.
