Charles Kingston

Charles Kingston has been involved in the machine vision and automotive imaging fields for over 25 years with experience ranging from camera design to application engineering. The past 12 years he has worked for CMOS image sensor companies Aptina, ON Semiconductor and STMicroelectronics in application engineering roles supporting automotive T1s and OEMs in their development of all types of automotive camera systems. Since joining ST in 2021, he has focused on the emerging and rapidly expanding automotive in-cabin application space which includes driver monitoring, occupant monitoring, child presence detection, video chat and face ID. Charles holds a BSEE from Michigan Technological University.
