Dr. Zhencheng James Hu

Dr. Zhencheng James Hu, Founder and CEO of Edge Perception Technology in Shanghai, China. Dr. Hu has successfully founded WiSSEN Intelligent Sensing Technology in 2011, which has been grown up to an important automotive camera module supplier worldwidely. Dr. Hu had been working in national Kumamoto University in Japan for 13 years as associate professor. Dr. Hu received his PhD in Computer Science from Kumamoto University in 2001 and had held different positions in the image processing frontier industry before he joined to the faculty team in ITS Lab in Kumamoto University.

Dr. Hu has been involved over the last 22 years in the field of computer vision, intelligent vehicles, sensor fusion and augmented reality, and have published more than 100 technical papers in relative journals and conferences since 1996. Dr. Hu holds more than 20 patents (pendings included) in Japan, US, Europe.
