About Jonathan Phillips
Jonathan Phillips is VP of Imaging Science at Imatest, a leading company in image quality testing based in Boulder, Colorado that supports camera development for many of the world’s top companies across many industries, including automotive, mobile electronics, security, aerospace, and medical imaging. He is the co-author of Camera Image Quality Benchmarking, a reference book that details objective and subjective metrics fundamental to benchmarking still and video imaging devices. Prior to joining Imatest, Jonathan was the leader of image quality in Google’s Android organization, manager of the camera image quality lab at NVIDIA, and principal scientist at Kodak. Kodak sponsored his Master’s and PhD work in color science at RIT.
