About Liang Downey
Liang leads the digital transformation for clients helping them adopt digital technology to achieve business outcome, through customer experience design, employee engagement, next gen operations, and future re-imagination.
She managed multi-million-dollar agile development projects in support of a major auto OEM’s connected vehicle cybersecurity program, protecting real-time in-vehicle networks, vehicle software and their access control. She program managed telematics vehicle development. Liang consulted on defining the integration requirement for an auto OEM’s 32bit Power-Train Controller Developmental Environment. For this OEM and its two suppliers, she facilitated the process transformation of its vehicle subsystem design and manufacturing.
Liang is the chair for IEEE USA Women in Engineering, former advisor to IEEE Technology Engineering Management Society, member of the IEEE Energy Policy Committee. She holds a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA in Finance.
