Mihai Caleap

Dr Mihai Caleap is the founder of Calyo, an innovative technology company that specialises in creating cutting-edge sensing solutions for autonomous mobility applications and beyond.

Dr Caleap has an interdisciplinary background and worked both as an academic and as an entrepreneur, successfully translating blue-sky research into deep-tech start-ups. He published widely and wrote several relevant patents. His most significant work is published internationally in renowned physics journals, including Applied Physics Letters, New Journal of Physics, Physical Review Letters, and others, including Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences and Nature Communications.
