Misty Martin, LTC(R)

Misty Martin, LTC(R) founder of M3 Defense Consulting (M3DC), transitioned from a distinguished 21-year military career, including three combat tours, into a pivotal role within the defense industry. Starting as a Military Intelligence Officer, Misty led the Army’s first UAV platoon and served in various key positions, including Operations Officer for I Corps G2 and Program Manager for the Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) test program. Her expertise contributed to the success of significant programs such as the in-theater retrofit and reset of the Stryker System in Afghanistan. A Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Misty holds degrees in Psychology, Sociology, and a Master’s in Defense Management. Her work has been recognized with the David Packard Excellence in Acquisition Award, among many others. At M3DC, Misty’s leadership has driven the firm to secure over $3M in awards, specializing in bridging the gap between military requirements and industry capabilities.
