Niyant Patel

Niyant Patel is Director, Field Applications Engineering at Elmos North America. He has over 17 years of experience with automotive electronics and integrated circuit development. In his current role he is responsible for product alignment and technical support of North American automotive Tier 1 and OEM market. Niyant has held roles in automotive electronics development focused on passive safety sensors and ASIC development at TRW (now ZF) as well as at Intersil (now Renesas) focused on high speed SerDes, surround and backup view video processors as well as battery cell management products. Niyant graduated from University of Detroit Mercy with Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with focus on autonomous vehicles and mobile robotics systems. He also actively contributes in academia as a Board Member with the University of Detroit Mercy’s Electrical, Electronics and Computer Engineering department.
