About Qing Tian
Dr. Qing Tian is an assistant professor of Computer Science at Bowling Green State University where he founded and directs the BG Computer Vision Laboratory. He holds a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from McGill University. His primary research interests lie in deep neural network compression, robust neural architecture search, and adversarial AI. His current research in fast and reliable self-driving perception is generously supported by the National Science Foundation through a CRII Award. Prior to joining BGSU, he conducted research projects in visual detection at Amazon Visual Search. Before his PhD, he worked at Nakisa Inc as a software developer.
