Shane McGuire

Shane has spent his recent career developing sensors for autonomous driving applications and currently serves as the lead System Architect for Cruise. Prior to that he led development efforts for camera systems at Cruise and was involved in that space at Waymo as well. Shane spent his early career in the aerospace industry developing components for naval radar systems as well as government and commercial imaging and communications satellites. He currently lives in northern California with his wife Melody and their daughter Aurelia and can often be found racing bikes or tinkering in his garage.
