SemiDrive founded in 2018, provides high-performance and highly reliable automotive-grade chip products and solutions for central computing and zonal control electronic and electrical architectures, covering intelligent cockpits and smart vehicle control.

SemiDrive has R&D centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Shenzhen, and Dalian, and offices in Changchun and Wuhan. The core members of the SemiDrive team have nearly 20 years of experience in mass production of automotive-grade chips, making it one of the few international teams in China with comprehensive capabilities in product definition, technology R&D, and large-scale mass production of automotive-grade chips.

In terms of automotive-grade certification, SemiDrive is the first company in China to complete the five major safety certifications in the automotive-grade chip field. These include TÜV Rheinland ISO 26262 ASIL D functional safety process certification, AEC-Q100 Grade 1/Grade 2 reliability certification, ISO 26262 ASIL B/D functional safety product certification, ISO/SAE 21434 automotive cybersecurity management system certification, and commercial cryptographic algorithm certification (National Cryptography Administration level 2).

SemiDrive Technology has completed B++ round of financing, with investors including Beijing E-town Capital, Beijing Jingguorui Investment Management Co., Ltd., SAIC Golden Stone, Walden International, Matrix Partners China, Lenovo Capital, Sequoia Capital, Vertex Ventures, Pro Capital, CITIC Securities, Chendao Capital, Shanghai STVC Group, V Fund, VINNO Capital, Jiangsu Golden Stone Transportation Technology Industry Fund, Anhui Transportation Control Golden Stone Investment, Guozhong Ventures, Huatai Insurance group, and others.

Currently, SemiDrive’s entire product series has achieved mass production of over millions units, serving more than 260 customers with over 200 designated projects, covering over 90% of Chinese car manufacturers and several major international car companies.
