AutoSens USA: Keynotes on ADAS, AI & Vehicle Tech

AutoSens and InCabin USA 2025 is set to deliver cutting-edge insights from some of the most influential voices in automotive tech. With keynote speakers from Aptiv, Bosch, Omnivision, and Stellantis, this year’s event will spotlight the latest breakthroughs in ADAS, AI, smart vehicle architecture, and in-cabin innovation. Here’s a look at what’s in store.

AutoSens and InCabin USA 2025 will kick off with an exceptional Keynote from industry leader Javed Kahn, President of Software and Advanced Safety and User Experience at Aptiv. As a key figure shaping the future of automotive technology, Kahn will offer his insights into how advancements in Smart Vehicle Architecture and AI-driven sensing technologies are transforming automation and driver experience. This keynote will set the stage for a dynamic two days of discussion, discovery, and collaboration in the realms of vehicle perception and in-cabin intelligence. Looking ahead to the next decade, Javed Kahn highlights the pivotal role of Smart Vehicle Architecture in redefining automation.

“Smart Vehicle Architecture, equipped with advancements in end-to-end systems and interoperable hardware and software, will be a major catalyst for automation and underscore the power of a holistic, systems-level view. This approach will enable seamless integration and scalability, driving the next wave of automation in the automotive industry and beyond.”

With software-defined vehicles, AI-powered perception, and enhanced user experiences driving the evolution of mobility, AutoSens and InCabin USA 2025 will be the place to explore the latest breakthroughs and industry strategies.

On the AutoSens Exhibition Stage, Elizabeth Kao, Director of Product Management for ADAS at Bosch, will deliver a Keynote on Right-Sizing ADAS Sensor Suites Through Sensor Fusion. Kao, a pioneer in the automotive sector, has spearheaded go-to-market strategies for ADAS in North America. We asked her what breakthroughs in AI and SDVs she thinks will redefine the automotive industry over the next decade:

“SDVs will rely heavily on the seamless integration and interpretation of data from diverse sensors like lidar, radar, cameras, and ultrasonic sensors. Advancements in sensor fusion algorithms will play a critical role for robust and reliable perception. With these improvements, AI algorithms will enhance the ability of vehicles to detect pedestrians, cyclists, and other vulnerable road users, particularly in challenging conditions like low light or heavy traffic.”

This presentation will posit that by leveraging machine learning to enhance sensor fusion, we can enhance safety system without compromising on efficiency or cost.

Dr. Eiichi Funatsu, Vice President of Technology, Office of the CTO at Omnivision will grace the same stage to explore the evolving demands of ADAS on image sensors, and the subsequent impact on architectures, future system designs, and perception methodologies. Omnivision is a leading provider of high-performance sensing solutions for ADAS and automation as well as in-cabin monitoring, and Dr. Funatsu will discuss the challenges around defining image sensor requirements, drawing on over three decades of experience in this domain.

Finally, the AutoSens closing Keynote will be delivered by Emily Robb, Senior Fellow for ADAS Sensing Processing & Localization at Stellantis. Her expertise spans across AD software architecture, sensing hardware, data collection instrumentation, time synchronization, calibration, and annotation & labeling. Her current area of focus is on embedded perception architectures facilitated by centralized high-performance computing platforms, as well as advanced use cases enabled by such platforms, which is the topic of her presentation.

“The centralization of high-bandwidth sensor data processing presents a unique opportunity for various customer feature applications to enhance their performance by accessing more raw information than ever before. By leveraging machine learning and artificial intelligence, existing features can be significantly improved.”

As the conferences approach, excitement continues to build around the groundbreaking discussions and expert insights that will shape the future of automotive. With a stellar lineup of speakers and cutting-edge topics, attendees will gain invaluable knowledge on the latest advancements and industry trends. Elizabeth Kao sums up the anticipation best:

I’m always very eager to learn more about what the industry is working on and where we are going. The tracks for this year all look very interesting, with great speakers, so I think it will be a great experience.”

With a powerhouse lineup and future-focused themes, AutoSens and InCabin USA 2025 promises to spark meaningful conversations and showcase the technologies shaping tomorrow’s vehicles. Don’t miss your chance to be part of it.
