Infrared Sensing for Safer Roads: Compal’s Infrared Demo Experience
Compal

When the sun sets, most pedestrian fatalities happen. Traditional sensors struggle in darkness, rain, and glare — but Compal’s infrared technology sees what others can’t.

Their in-vehicle demonstration puts you in the passenger seat to experience how their IR cameras and AI perception stack (CDAT™) deliver “thermal vision” for cars. As we navigate real-world routes, you’ll watch a live display showing pedestrians and cyclists clearly detected long before they’re visible to the human eye. Bounding boxes, predicted paths, and automatic forward collision warning responses showcase how their system protects vulnerable road users and meets upcoming regulations.

Designed to run on multiple SoCs, Compal’s IR solution offers OEMs a cost-effective path to regulatory compliance — and, more importantly, to saving lives.

See the future of vehicle safety. Contact Compal to schedule your demo and experience innovation that makes every road safer.

indie to Showcase Next-Gen Vision Processing and 120 GHz Radar at AutoSens

At AutoSens, indie will showcase several demos highlighting their vision processing and radar solutions. iND880, indie’s flagship camera video processor delivers low-latency, high-throughput processing for multiple cameras and thermal sensors, offloading the ADAS central compute SoC, with low power and cost efficiency, perfect for DMS/OMS, e-mirror, surround view monitoring and pedestrian/object detection.

They will also feature their first iteration 120 GHz 4×4 MIMO radar analog front-end in a flip-chip package with eight integrated antennas, ideally suited for in-cabin and exterior sensing applications including occupancy detection, parking-assistance, and 360° surround view.

Murata Demonstrates Energy Harvesting Technology for Next-Gen Tire Monitoring Systems

The TMS gathers vital information about the tire and road conditions, passing this to the ECU, which visualises the data and takes appropriate mechanical action. With the need for increased sensing frequencies and data transfers to obtain useful information from the tires, more power will be required. Murata’s high-power generating Harvesting Device with superior mechanical robustness is the solution to secure the energy.

Shaping the Future with Impact Extrusion

Neuman Aluminium Impact Extrusion is proud to present their expertise at this year’s AutoSens Europe event. As a technological pioneer in cold forming, Neuman Aluminum Impact Extrusion has been setting industry standards for decades.

Visitors to their booth will gain an inside look at how their innovative processes enable the production of complex, lightweight, and high-precision aluminum parts. One of theirr key focuses is on components for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), such as radar, camera, and lidar housings. These parts must deliver higher computing power in ever-smaller spaces – an increasing challenge as vehicles move toward (partially) autonomous driving.

Thanks to their metallurgical know-how, automated production, and creative engineering solutions, they create components that combine intricate internal geometries and extremely thin wall thicknesses with outstanding cooling performance – meeting the most demanding requirements.

At their booth, experts will be ready to demonstrate their solutions, discuss specific applications, and explore how impact extrusion can create value for your business.

Neuman Aluminum Impact Extrusion is part of the Neuman Aluminium Group, which operates worldwide with around 2,700 employees. Their company is dedicated to driving sustainable mobility and improving quality of life with innovative aluminum solutions.
