Trail-blazers, game changers and industry heroes revealed as finalists for inaugural AutoSens Awards 2017
The first edition of AutoSens Awards (Atomium Brussels, 20 September 2017) has seen a great level of engagement, with over 80 nominated companies across 7 categories, nominated by the AutoSens Advisory Board, the wider automotive community and Sense Media experts themselves. After much deliberation over such strong categories, the shortlist has now been announced.

“We are delighted with the range of submissions, with organisations with a single employee to over 500,000 staff nominated in the same category. This breadth of company profile is illustrative of the open opportunity presented by the automotive space today – the ability to make an impact is not limited by company size or resources, and that’s a very healthy state to be in.” comments Robert Stead, Managing Director of Sense Media, organisers of the AutoSens Awards.
He continues, “The automotive industry is undergoing the busiest period of innovation in its long and rich history, with an unprecedented range of companies, organisations, institutions, media outlets, analysts, consultants and more engaging with this development. It’s easy to stay buried in your work, focussed on the task at hand, and fail to acknowledge the contribution that others make to your own working success. The AutoSens Awards is about celebrating that achievement, taking a break from the whirlwind pace of industrial progress to recognise and celebrate those special people and organisations that are paving the way for the industry to develop.”
The nominated finalists of each category will be scrutinised by our world-class judging panel over the summer, and the winners will be announced at The Atomium Brussels on the evening of 20 September 2017. There are a very limited number of tickets available for this intimate ceremony – book yours before they run out >>

“Since its inception, AutoSens Awards has always been about highlighting those who are going that extra mile, or working smart to bring benefit to the engineering community as a whole. We are proud to present our shortlisted finalists for 2017, an impressive list of high-achievers who have all made their own mark on this pivotal industry. We look forward to welcoming you in acknowledging their contribution, and joining the rest of the AutoSens community in our celebration of achievement. There’s a long way to go before every car on the road is fully autonomous, but we’ll need more dedicated, motivated and innovative individuals to guide us down that road.”
